May-ling Martinez

May-ling Martinez was born and raised in Puerto Rico and is currently living in San Diego,CA. Completing a MFA degree at San Diego State University,2007. In 1996 she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communications and Visual Arts from Sacred Heart University,PR. Her work has been in numerous exhibitions and it has been reviewed in The San Diego Union Tribune by Robert Pincus. The work consists of mixed media installations, sculptures and collages that function as triggers to evoke memories.
